Trap Movie Review 2024: Josh Hartnett’s powerful performance in the movie is getting lots of praise but when it comes to the overall movie it bags mixed reviews from both critics and fans.
The movie starts with a live concert where the lead role is played by Josh Hartnett [Cooper]. Cooper is there in the concert with his daughter Riley. The police and the FBI are also in the concert to catch Cooper. But no one knows that Cooper is the serial killer named “The Butcher.”
Cooper somehow enters the concert and asks Lady Raven [the singer of the live concert] to help him after he learns that the FBI is also there in the concert, searching for the serial killer. In return, he says that if she would not help him, he would eventually kill her and Spencer, the victim.
The Lady Raven, who is the singer of the live concert, escapes for a few minutes and asks her fans on live video to help her find the house where the victim Spencer is tied up. It shows the clever and cunning side of the singer, who is the ultimate partner and the member associated with the FBI [as revealed later].
Before Lady Raven finds out about the house and asks her fans the question on live video, Cooper reveals to her that he is “The Butcher” whom the police are searching for. Cooper, who gets a successful exit from the concert with Lady Raven’s help and is accompanied by his daughter Riley, takes the two ladies to his house, where his wife is already there.
After seeing the torn ticket in the house, the wife already gets the instinct that something is wrong with her husband. The wife, in return, tries to help Lady Raven to escape and help her. She also helped Lady Raven to get her husband caught by the Police. Ultimately, everyone in the picture reveals that Cooper is the serial killer and the wanted “Butcher.”

Many people have said that the filmmakers have tried to show the dark side of the killing, the mouse-cat fight, the family’s emotional touch, humor, and a satisfying twist. But, in the end, it all feels plain to them, and still, it is not boring to watch.
