Harris Faulkner was born on 13th October 1965, making her 58 years old as of 2024. Harris was born at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia. Her father, Bobby R. Harris, was in the army and retired from the designation of Lieutenant Colonel.
During his time in the Army, Bobby R. Harris served on three tours in Vietnam. Since childhood, Harris Faulkner has resided in different places, including Stuttgart, West Germany. Harris attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received a B.A. in Mass Communication.

Harris worked in the media and news industry before 1991. She began with LA Weekly as a freelance business writer at $50 for one article. She then started her television career doing internships and began with KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, doing small tasks.

After working as an intern, Harris moved to Greenville, North Carolina, where she started working as a reporter & anchor for WNCT-TV from Oct 1991 to Feb 1992. From 1992 to 2000, she worked for WDAF-TV as an evening anchor based in Kansas City.
From March 1992 to December 1999, she worked for WDAF-TV (FOX) Kansas City, and her responsibilities included anchoring 6 pm and 10 pm news. Indeed, she was the primary evening news anchor. They then walked down the aisle on 12th April 2003 in Rio Rico, Arizona. After their marriage, they have given birth to two daughters. One of their daughters is named Bella Berlin.
