Julie Banderas was born on 25th September 1973 in the United States. Her mother is Fabiola R. – an immigrant from Colombia. Her father, the late Howard Dexter Bidwell, was a Navy veteran and civil engineer who founded Consolidated Precast, Inc.
Julie has a sister, Melissa Bidwell, who works as an executive producer at Bunim Murray Productions. She also has four half-siblings born from her father’s first marriage. Talking about her educational background, she received her primary education. Julie attended Emerson College and received a B.S. (Bachelor of Science) – Broadcast and Journalism degree in 1986.
Career
Julie started working in 1997. She served as an anchor for WHSV – TV (ABC 3) in Harrisonburg, VA. There, Julie worked as a News Anchor till July 1999. She worked for WBRE-TV (NBC 11) based in Wilkes-Barre and WLVI-TV (CW 56) based in Boston, MA.
Julie joined WFSB TV (CBS 3) in Hartford, CT, as a news anchor/reporter and worked from Jan 2000 to Dec 2001. She then started working for FOX 5 NY (WNYW-TV) and served there from Jan 2002 to Nov 2005.
