Early Life
Christian Chandler was born on 24th February, 1982, in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. She is 44 years old as of October 2026. She spent much of her childhood in the Charlottesville and Ruckersville areas of Virginia. Originally named Christopher Weston Chandler, she later adopted the name Christian Weston Chandler.
She attended Manchester High School before studying at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Christine completed an associate degree and certificate in computer-aided drafting and design in May 2006. Her education also included several art classes and computer-related studies.
These skills later contributed to her work creating and editing independent comic books. Christine developed an interest in drawing, video games, animation, and popular culture during childhood. Characters from Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon became important influences on her creative work.
Family
Christian Chandler is the daughter of Robert Franklin Chandler Jr., known as Bob, and Barbara Chandler. Her father died in 2011, while her mother became a recurring subject in her online videos and personal discussions. She also has half-siblings, including Cole Smithey, David Chandler, and Carol Chandler.
However, Christine has shared limited information about her relationships with them. Her parents played important roles during her early life and supported several of her creative interests. Her mother frequently appeared in her online content before the family’s circumstances attracted major public attention.
Career
Christian Chandler began developing her most recognizable creative project in 2000. She created Sonichu, an independent webcomic featuring a character combining elements of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu.
The comic follows Sonichu, Rosechu, and their friends through adventures in the fictional city of CWCville, Virginia. Christine developed the characters, wrote the stories, and produced the illustrations herself. She initially distributed her work through her personal website and printed comic editions.
Sonichu became available online in November 2004. Its unusual characters and crossover concept attracted attention within online gaming communities. In 2007, images of Christine and her comic began circulating on internet forums.
This attention brought her considerable online visibility. However, it also exposed her to years of coordinated trolling, impersonation, privacy violations, and harassment. Internet users frequently contacted her through fake accounts and manipulated her personal relationships.
Christian Chandler gradually expanded beyond comic creation through YouTube videos and online commentary. Her videos frequently discussed video games, animation, relationships, and her fictional universe. She also experimented with music and released homemade songs under the name Christian and the Hedgehog Boys.
Over the years, Christine developed several online businesses. These included merchandise connected to Sonichu, handmade medallions, clothing, music, and other collectibles. She also used subscription platforms and livestreaming to communicate with supporters.
Her online career experienced a major interruption in August 2021. Christian Chandler was arrested in Virginia and charged with one count of felony incest involving her mother. The case received widespread media coverage and intensified attention surrounding her personal life.
A judge dismissed the charge on August 8, 2023, following a court-approved deferred-disposition process. Christine had spent approximately two years in custody before her release in March 2023. The dismissal meant the case ended without a criminal conviction.
Following her release, Christine gradually returned to online publishing. She resumed posting artwork, videos, and updates connected to Sonichu. During 2025, she continued using her personal website to publish creative updates and sell products. In January 2026, Christine began posting videos on TikTok.
Her content included updates about entertainment, video games, artwork, and her creative projects. She continued publishing short videos and promotional material through October 2026. Her official website also operates as an online store. It offers handmade character medallions, clothing, music collections, and other creator merchandise.
Personal Life
Christian Chandler publicly identifies as a transgender woman and uses she/her pronouns. She began discussing her gender identity publicly during the 2010s and legally changed her name to Christine Weston Chandler in 2016.
Her personal relationships have frequently attracted online attention. However, many stories surrounding her romantic life involve impersonation, fictional characters, or unverified online claims. No reliably confirmed current romantic partner or marriage has been established through credible public reporting.
Christine has expressed strong interests in animation, video games, music, comic books, and Transformers. These interests continue to influence her artwork and online content.
Her personal history also reflects the effects of prolonged online harassment. For years, strangers recorded, shared, and discussed private aspects of her life. This treatment became a subject of wider discussions about internet culture, digital privacy, and cyberbullying.
Social Media
Christian Chandler maintains an online presence through YouTube, TikTok, X, and Bluesky. Her content includes personal videos, comic-related updates, music, and discussions about entertainment franchises.
She also operates her official website, where she publishes updates and sells merchandise. Her social media usernames have changed several times, and numerous impersonation accounts exist. Therefore, reliable current follower counts are difficult to establish.
Christian Chandler Net Worth
Christian Chandler’s net worth has not been reliably established. Her publicly identifiable income sources include independent comic sales, merchandise, handmade medallions, music releases, video content, and online contributions from supporters. Her official website lists products priced between approximately $40 and $100 for selected Sonichu medallions.
She has also received financial support through online subscriptions, livestream donations, and paid creator content. However, her total monthly income and business revenue remain undisclosed. There is insufficient information to provide a dependable net worth estimate.
