Charly Arnolt was born on 14th July 1987 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and her parents are of Italian descent. Since childhood, she has had a passion and love for sports, and she used to play softball and volleyball and do gymnastics.
Charly hoped to appear in the Olympics as a gymnast but had to retire from her sports career because of injuries. She used to play volleyball and aspired to play the sport at the collegiate level but was later obstructed by her height.

Charly Arnolt began her journalism career in 2010 when she joined WSAZ-TV as a reporter in Huntington, West Virginia. She then moved to Indianapolis to work as a freelance reporter.
