Levine secured Mikkel for Team Adam by using the season’s First-In Button. This special advantage allowed the first coach to turn and activate the button to claim an artist without a further coaching decision. Mikkel later said Levine would have been her preferred coach anyway.
On October 20, 2026, Amanda Mikkel competed against Julia Clark in the Battle Rounds. They performed Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” receiving praise for their interpretations. Levine ultimately selected Mikkel to advance, giving her another important victory in the competition.
